To taste the rich simplicity of a pici con pomodorini, Tuscany’s traditional pasta made by hand, with a sauce of tomatoes and basil grown in our kitchen gardens, and to enjoy it under the Tuscan sun, overlooking the rolling vineyards and olive groves; this is authentic, this is something our guests miss when they return home.
Summer evenings at the castello are always special. Imagine a table elegantly set in La Taverna’s garden, warm barmy air, a glass of estate wine, Levriero, and a salad dressed in our own pressed extra virgin olive oil. When you close your eyes you can taste Tuscany.
La Taverna is open all day by the pool and for cooler seasons has a cosy dining room in the castello’s former kitchen.
